"Land and space needs to be used differently in post-COVID era" - Video Interview

Urban planner, Jennifer Keesmaat, makes great points about the importance of using land differently within a new urban core model. In particular, walkability and being able to live and work within our local communities should be a priority for cities and municipalities across our country. Priority also needs to be given to mixed use buildings that will increase density and allow this new “15-minute neighbourhood” model to flourish.

These points align with the vision of the Hume Innovation Hub as our facility will be a valuable resource to local residents (both within central Collingwood and the broader South Georgian Bay region).
